As a teen or tween that is what you are looking for isn't it?
I know that is what I looked for. Never could seem to find a place either. Still have not found a place in the world. Still don't have that close human friend.
What I have is better. I did find my place and I do belong. I had belonged a long time and did not quite realize it fully when I was in my teens and tween years. But I did and still do belong.
Now where and with whom do I belong? I belong to Jesus Christ. I belong where He puts me.
I know you want to know what does that mean to you. It means all the way from that popular person (who looks happy, but really isn't) to that out cast that doesn't even belong in any group who doesn't have a friend can belong and can have a close friend a best friend. I by the way was that one that no one wanted. I was the one who would sit and read a book then have an entire student body want to beat me up. Our pastor was the one that ruled the school and was the school bully.
Now I belong and you can to. I belong to Jesus Christ.
Christ is my Savior.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Christ is also my best friend and He wants to be yours. To Him one soul is worth the whole world. So what does that have to do with you?
Your soul is worth the whole world.
One soul could have saved Sodom and Gomorrah.
Seven souls are why earth was given a second chance. One soul gives us Salvation now.
Christ gives us salvation. All of us. First to the Jews His chosen then to the Gentiles the ones that showed potential.
By the way a Gentile is anyone not a Jew.
Belonging to Christ won't be an easy road. I won't lie to you. But it is worth it. The end goal of this road is Heaven and to hear our best friend and King say well done though good and faithful servant. But that is another lesson for another day. This is about salvation today.
Now you know no matter who are you spotted pastor not you can belong. From that gang member to that cheerleader or jock to that outcast you can all belong to Christ.
Christ saved a murderer who was beside Him on the cross because He believed in Christ and asked for Christ to put in a good word for Him.
One of the apostles was a zealot (their version of activist), one was a publican (a.k.a tax collector), and the apostle to the Gentiles Paul was a murderer for hire his target Christians. The leader denied Him three times. All of these did a complete 180 and followed Christ completely and now will lead the 12 tribes of Judah and the Gentiles.
You can be one of them. Not the leaders, but one of the subjects and be apart of the Family of God.
Salvation Prayer or Process
This starts with the state of your heart.
First what have you done?
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Note ALL what does this mean.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This means both body and soul. This means going to that place you have been told doesn't exist to be with a evil thing you have been told doesn't exist. But both exist and that is Hell with the devil who glories in people not believing he exists. Evil in this world is proof enough don't you think. That is another topic for another day.
Now that you see what a pickle you are in why don't we look at how you can get out of it.

God has given us a gift. That gift is eternal life. A.K.A. going to another place you have been told doesn't exist or maybe have been told as a movie plex or something (stupid lies) to be with one you have been told was a good man. Heaven with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Who is the Son of God and is the Godhead.
This is a gift anyone can have and it is free. It is already paid for by Christ on the cross shedding His blood. His blood which cleanses us, purifies us, and removes our sins giving us the way to Heaven.
Why did God do this.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

We are His creation and He loves us.
Genesis 1-3 Shows how we all get in this pickle.
Eve listened to Satan, seduced her husband (who could have said no) and they both ate the fruit of the tree of life and boom we are now going to Hell. ALL OF US!. But God loves us so He is giving us a way to Heaven. The only way.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Guess what that is the door to your heart. You the popular one, you the one with the scars you hid, you the outcast, you the gang member, you the geek, you the nerd, and all the rest. Your Heart, Your Soul, Christ Wants You.
Now how do you let Him in? This is a three step process.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Step 1 Confess you are a big stinkin', rotten, horrible, ugly to look upon sinner.
Step 2 Believe with all your heart (not head) that Christ will save you and take you Home to Heaven some day.
Believe in your heart He is the Savior and the son of God.
Step 3 Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: 22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Now remember this is a life time commitment no turning back. Once you finish the salvation process you belong to Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit will begin training you for Heaven. Be sure you are ready to dive in with both feet. I pray you are it is an interesting ride. Rough but interesting and worth it.
